This type of acne causes a lot of discomfort for the patients. They become depressed with the changes in the appearance of their skin. A doctor should be consulted immediately if patients feel unusually sad or have other symptoms like loss of appetite.
Other types of side effects include dryness of the eyes, mouth lips and nose. Skin itching, there could be nose bleeding. There may be muscle pain; sensitivity to the sun and even poor night vision. Side effects are gone after the treatment is stopped.
